Recent News

Mr.Jamsheed Jamsheed has successfully passed the 7th Dan Black Belt test conducted by Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama and the ITKF. He is the second person to receive this rank from Sensei Nishiyama.

On behalf of all the members of Three Kings Karate Club (New Zealand), I would like to express our great pleasure and sincerely congratulate Sensei Jamsheed and also all his colleagues and trainees all around the world.


A Brief Background of Sensei Jamsheed

Sensei Jamsheed was born in Neishabour- Iran in 1948. After completing primary school in his Birthplace, he continued his education in Tehran, the capital city of Iran.

When he had completed his diploma in high school and compulsory military service, he travelled to the U.S.A to study civil engineering at the University of Southern California (USC).

At the same time he started learning karate at the National Karate Center under Sensei Nishiyama. He received 1st Dan in 1974 and returned to Iran on 1975 after graduating from USC.

He is the co-founder of the Iran Karate Association and the Iran Martial Art Federation and has been the head coach of the Iran national karate kata team in many Asian and World Karate Championships.

He is now the cheif instructor at the Shotokan Karate Institute of New Zealand.
